Terminology

Platform refers to overall collection of apps
Apps are modules that can be enabled and disabled per user
Users are people how have access to the platform
System is a collection of assets. Systems can have 3D, 2D diagram
Assets are the primary entity in our platform “Digital Twin” of the physical asset
Plan represents a maintenance plan (calendar-based or meter-based)
Alert represents an notification

Concepts

App are self contained modules and only loaded if it was purchased. Apps are typically purchased in sets of 5.
Tags offer flexibility of grouping resources. Files, Assets, Systems, Plans are some examples that can be tagged.
Assets app is core application. All other apps are linked to an Asset.
System and Assets app shows all the details about the specific system or the specific asset respectively. Other apps show details of all assets accessible to the user
Users have Roles, Roles have permissions (Create, Read, Update, Delete) for each App.
